There are the two who have entered into the cave of the heart of a creature, into the supreme high — they are like light and shade. Those who know Brahman call them the shadow and the light, and so do the householders who have performed the five fires, and those who have thrice lighted the Nâciketâ fire.

The two who have entered the cave of the heart, in the highest realm — knowers of Brahman call them shadow and light. So do those who keep the five fires and those who have performed the Nachiketa rite three times.
