As rain water that has fallen into a mountain crevice runs to waste among the rocks, so he who sees qualities as separate and runs after them wastes himself.
Just as rain falling on rugged mountain terrain runs off in all directions, so one who sees qualities as separate and runs after them disperses and is lost.
