The seventh chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is Gyaan Vigyana Yoga . In this chapter, Krishna reveals that he is the Supreme Truth, the principal cause and the sustaining force of everything. He reveals his illusionary energy in this material world called Maya, which is very difficult to overcome but those who surrender their minds unto Him attain Him easily. He also describes the four types of people who surrender to Him in devotion and the four kinds that don't. Krishna confirms that He is the Ultimate Reality and those who realize this Truth reach the pinnacle of spiritual realization and unite with the Lord.
I will tell you this knowledge combined with direct experience, completely and without remainder. Once you know this, there is nothing else here left to know.
O son of Kunti, I am the taste in water, the light of the moon and the sun, the syllable Om in all the Vedas, the sound in space, and the manhood in men.
I am the strength of the strong that is free from desire and attachment. O best of the Bharatas, I am desire in beings that does not conflict with righteousness.
ये चैव सात्त्विका भावा राजसास्तामसाश्च ये |
मत्त एवेति तान्विद्धि न त्वहं तेषु ते मयि ||७-१२||
ye caiva sāttvikā bhāvā rājasāstāmasāśca ye .
matta eveti tānviddhi na tvahaṃ teṣu te mayi ||7-12||

Primary Translation
Whatever things exist in the quality of sattva, and whatever things exist in rajas and tamas, know that they all come from me alone. Yet I am not in them. They are in me.
O Arjuna, O best of the Bharatas, four kinds of virtuous people worship me: the afflicted, the seeker of knowledge, the seeker of wealth, and the person of wisdom.
तेषां ज्ञानी नित्ययुक्त एकभक्तिर्विशिष्यते |
प्रियो हि ज्ञानिनोऽत्यर्थमहं स च मम प्रियः ||७-१७||
teṣāṃ jñānī nityayukta ekabhaktirviśiṣyate .
priyo hi jñānino.atyarthamahaṃ sa ca mama priyaḥ ||7-17||
Simple English
Primary Translation
Among these, the person of wisdom, who is always steadfast and whose devotion is one-pointed, stands apart. I am very dear to that person, and that person is dear to me.
Those whose wisdom is carried off by various desires, driven by their own nature, follow other deities and take up the practices suited to those deities.
Those of poor understanding think I, the unmanifest, have taken on a manifest form. They do not know my higher nature, which is immutable and unsurpassed.
O descendant of Bharata, O destroyer of foes, all beings are thrown into delusion at birth because of the confusion of duality that arises from likes and dislikes.
But those people of virtuous deeds whose sins have come to an end, who are freed from the confusion of duality and are firm in their vows, they worship me.
जरामरणमोक्षाय मामाश्रित्य यतन्ति ये |
ते ब्रह्म तद्विदुः कृत्स्नमध्यात्मं कर्म चाखिलम् ||७-२९||
jarāmaraṇamokṣāya māmāśritya yatanti ye .
te brahma tadviduḥ kṛtsnamadhyātmaṃ karma cākhilam ||7-29||
Simple English
Primary Translation
Those who strive for liberation from old age and death by taking refuge in me, they come to know that Brahman, the full nature of the individual self, and all action.
साधिभूताधिदैवं मां साधियज्ञं च ये विदुः |
प्रयाणकालेऽपि च मां ते विदुर्युक्तचेतसः ||७-३०||
sādhibhūtādhidaivaṃ māṃ sādhiyajñaṃ ca ye viduḥ .
prayāṇakāle.api ca māṃ te viduryuktacetasaḥ ||7-30||

Primary Translation
Those who know me as present in the physical world, in the divine world, and in the realm of sacrifice, they know me even at the time of death, with minds absorbed in me.
