सा जनकात्मजा that daughter of Janaka, (Sita), एकम् one end, चीरम् of garment, कण्ठे on the neck, कृत्वा having placed, पाणिना with hand, आदाय held, तत्र thereafter, अकुशला unskilled (unhabituated), व्रीडिता feeling ashamed, तस्थौ stood.

The daughter of Janaka, placed one end of the garment round her neck and held the other in her hand, and stood ashamed as she did not know what to do next.
