English Translation
ततः then, अहम् I, गजप्रेप्सुः wishing to get the elephant, दीप्तम् bright, आशीविषोपमम् like a venomous serpent, शरम् shaft, उधृत्य शब्दं प्रति in the direction of the sound, अभिलक्ष्य aiming at, अपातयम् released.
English Commentary
Wishing to kill the elephant, I seized my arrow glowing like a venomous snake and aimed it towards the sound.
