Not finding his father in his abode, Bharata went to see his mother in her apartment. Bharata meets Kaikeyi -- hears from Kaikeyi about the demise of king Dasaratha and Rama's exile -- Vasistha calls upon Bharata to perform obsequies and get consecrated
