तथा thus, पृष्टा questioned, अस्य माता his mother, सुमहत् great, विप्रियम् grievous, वाक्यम् words, प्रियशङ्कया presuming it to be pleasant, यथातत्त्वम् exact fact, आख्यातुम् to relate, उपचक्रमे commenced.
