English Translation
उदङ्मुखः facing the north, प्रेक्षमाणः seeing, रथाश्वगजसम्बाधाम् with chariots, elephants and horses, यत्तै: wellequipped, पदातिभिः with infantry, युक्ताम् consisting of, महतीम् vast, चमूम् army, ददर्श beheld.
