English Translation
श्रीमान् beautiful, विनीतजनसेवितः served by humble people, अयम् this, भास्करस्य Sun's, मार्गम् path, निरोद्धम् to obstruct, निरतः was ever bent upon, अचलोत्तमः that great mountain, विन्ध्य Vindhya, यस्य whose, निदेशम् order, पालयन् obeying, न वर्धते does not grow, तस्य for him, लोके in this world, विश्रुतकर्मणः of a man of renowned deeds, दीर्घायुषः of long life, अगस्त्यस्य Agastya's, आश्रमः hermitage.
English Commentary
This is the hermitage of the longlived Agastya who is renowned for his deeds and is served by humble people. The great mountain Vindhya that was growing incessantly and obstructing the path of the Sun stopped growing any more in obedience to Agastya's words.
