सः he, चापात् from the bow, च्युतः released, शरः इव like an arrow, क्षिप्रम् at once, वनानि forests, सरितः rivers, शैलान् mountains, सरांसि च tanks, विहायसा through the sky, समतीयाय crossed.

Like an arrow released from the bow, Ravana went through the sky, at once crossing forests, rivers mountains and tanks.
