English Translation
ततः then, अहम् I, क्रोधसमाविष्टम् overpowered with anger, सम्रब्धम् agitated, उपागतम् arrived, तं भ्रातरम् brother, प्रियकाम्यया to pacify, प्रसादयाञ्चक्रे I appeased.
English Commentary
'I sought to appease my brother who arrived in an agitated state overpowered with anger. Sugriva narrates to Rama the reasons for his hostility with Vali and banishment from the kingdom.
