सुघोरम् dreadful, तम् him, सुमहत् great, बिलम् hole, प्रविष्टम् entering, विदित्वा knowing, अथ thereafter, क्रूरदर्शनः with cruel looks, अयम् this, मम भ्राता my brother, मया by me, उक्तः has been told.
