English Translation
दत्ताभयवधो नाम killing a person after promising protection, महत् great, पातकम् sin, उच्यते it is said to be, अहं च I also, लक्ष्मणश्चैव even Lakshmana, वरवर्णिनी darling, सीता च Sita also, वयं सर्वे all of us, त्वदधीनाः under your care, अस्मिन् in this regard, भवान् you, शरणम् refuge.
English Commentary
'It is said that killing a person to whom protection is promised is highly sinful. Lakshmana, darling Sita and me, are under your care and you are our refuge.
