English Translation
ततः then, समुद्रम् ocean, आसाद्य after reaching, अर्थनिश्चयम् decision, सम्प्रधार्य after arriving at, अगस्त्येन by Agastya, तत्र there, सागरे in the sea, अन्तरे inside, विनिवेशितः set up, चित्रनानानगः filled with colourful trees, श्रीमान् rich, महेन्द्रः Mahendra, पर्वतोत्तमः best of mountains, जातरूपमयः full of gold, श्रीमान् rich, महार्णवम् great sea, अवगाढः immersed into.
English Commentary
'Then on reaching the sea shore, decide the course of action. Sage Agastya has set up (between the moat of the city and and the sea) a glorious golden mountain Mahendra. Filled with colourful trees, it stretches into the sea.
