कृतज्ञः grateful, सत्यसन्धः truthful, प्लवगाधिपः leader of monkeys, सुग्रीवः Sugriva, तथा likewise, गतम् gone, रामम् Rama, दृष्ट्वा on seeing, ततः then, जीवितम् life, त्यक्ष्यति will give up.
