विन्ध्ये in Vindhya, पर्वतसत्तमे in the great mountain, विप्रणष्टानाम् of those who were lost, भृशम् greatly, शोकपरीतानाम् of those immersed in sorrow, तेषाम् of all of them, नः of us, अहोरात्रगणाः many nights and days, गताःpassed

"We wasted many nights and days immersed in disappointment (for not being able to find you) and we missed our path in the great Vindhya mountain.
