महावेगः of greatspeed, श्वसनेन with the Windgod, समः equal, बली powerful, वीर्यवान् brave,सः he, प्रहस्तस्य Prahasta's, निवेशनम् house, अवप्लुत्य jumped down, तत्र there, अग्निम् fire, निक्षिप्य setting, ततः then, अन्यत् another, महापार्श्वस्य Mahaparsva's, वेश्म house, पुप्लुवे jumped, हनुमान् Hanuman, कालानलशिखोपमम् like the flame of fire at the hour of dissolution, अग्निम् fire, मुमोच set.

Powerful and brave Hanuman who was equal to the Windgod in speed jumped down on the house of Prahasta and set fire to it. From there he jumped on to Mahaparsva's house and set it ablaze. Hanuman appeared like the fireflame at the time of dissolution.
