नरवानरराजौतौसतुवायुसुतःकपिः । जाम्बवानृक्षराजश्चराक्षसश्चविभीषणः ।।6.37.1।। अङ्गदोवालिपुत्रश्चसौमित्रिश्शरभःकपिः । सुषेणस्सहदायादोमैन्दोद्विविदएवच ।।6.37.2।। गजोगवाक्षःकुमुदोनलोऽथपनसस्तथा । अमित्रविषयंप्राप्तास्समवेतास्समर्धयन् ।।6.37.3।।

English Translation

नरवानरराजानौ king of men and monkeys, वायुसुतः son of wind god, सःकपिः that Vanara, ऋक्षराजः king of Bears, जाम्बवान् Jambavan, राक्षसः Rakshasa, विभीषणः Vibheeshana, वालिपुत्रः son of Vali, अङ्गदः Angada, सौमित्रिः Saumithri, शरभः Sarabha कपिः monkey, सहदायादः accompanied by kin, सुषेणः Sushena, मैन्दः Mainda, द्विविदएवच and Dwivida also, गजः Gaja, अथ so also, गवाक्षः Gavaksha, कुमुदः Kumuda, तथा likewise, नलः Nala, अथ and पनसः Panasa, अमित्रविषयम् at the enemy city, प्राप्ताः having reached, समवेताः collected, समर्थयन् thought.

English Commentary

Sugriva the king of men and monkeys, Hanuman the son of wind god, Jambavan the king of Bears, Vibheeshana, Vali's son Angada, Sarabha, accompanied by his kin Sushena, Mainda, Dwivida, Gaja, Gavaksha, Kumuda, the wise Nala and Panasa arrived at the enemy city and collected together thought like this. Vibheeshana reveals to Rama the arrangements made by Ravana to protect Lanka. Sri Rama and Sugriva discuss the plans for success.
