गजानाम् elephant riders, दशसाहस्रम् ten thousands, तथा similarly, रथानाम् charioteers, अयुतम् ten thousands, हयानाम् horse riders, द्वे, आयुते twenty thousand, रक्षसाम् foot soldiers, साग्रा more than, कोटिश्च one crore, संयुगेषु in wars, विक्रान्ताः valiant warriors, बलवन्तश्च mighty strong, आततायिनः endeavouring to kill, एते all, निशाचराः night rangers, नित्यम् always, राक्षसराजस्य Rakshasa king's, इष्टाः dear.

"Elephant army of ten thousand, similarly ten thousand charioteers, horse riders in twenty thousand, more than a crore foot soldiers, mighty strong and valiant warriors, night ranger's beloved to Ravana, the king of Rakshasas were staying close and serving."
