तेतु and they, अदीर्घेण short, कालेन time, सर्वतः all, गिरिम् mountain, आरुह्य ascended, तस्य its, शिखरे peak, खे sky, विषक्तामिव like a closely clinging, पुरीम् city, ददृशुः saw.

All of them in no time ascended the mountain peak and saw the city of Lanka which was as if clinging closely to the sky and hanging.
