तस्याम् from that, गोपुरशृङ्गस्थम् peak of the tower, दुरासदम् difficult to approach, श्वेतचामरपर्यन्तम् fanned by white whisks on both sides, विजयच्छत्रशोभितम् graced with triumphal parasol, रत्नचन्दनसंलिप्तम् decorated with red sandal paste, रक्ताभरणभूषितम् adorned in red coloured ornaments, नीलजीमूतसङ्काशम् resembling dark clouds, हेमसञ्छादिताम्बरम् attired in red embroidered with golden colour thread, विषाणाग्रैः by the indentations made by the tusks of Airavata elephant of Indra earlier, उत्कृष्टकिणवक्षसम् with scars on chest, शशलोहितरागेण colour of hare's blood, रक्तवाससा by the red coloured attire, संवीतम् सन्ध्यातपेन covered like sun shine at sun set, सञ्छन्नम् , अम्बरे sky, मेघराशिम् इव mass of clouds, राक्षसेन्द्रम् rakshasa king.
From there Rama saw on the peak of the tower the Rakshasa king, who is difficult to approach. He was fanned by white whisks on both sides, graced with triumphal parasol, decorated his body with red sandal paste, adorned in redcoloured ornaments, resembling dark clouds, attired in red like the hare's blood, embroidered with golden thread, with scars on his chest caused by indentations made by the tusks of Airavata the elephant of Indra, looked like a mass of cloud covered by sunshine at dusk.
