English Translation
तथा in that way, उक्तः having said, कुम्भकर्णः Kumbhakarna, महोदरम् to Mahodara, निर्भर्त्स्य warned, ततः then, राक्षसश्रेष्ठम् foremost of Rakshasas, रावणम् to Ravana, अब्रवीत् spoke.
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna having heard Mahodara, warned him not to speak that way and spoke to Ravana, the foremost of Rakshasas. Kumbhakarna condemns Mahodara's plans and departs to the battlefield.
