तेषाम् those princes, शस्त्राणाम् weapons, प्रगृहीता grasping, शिवा pure white, शरदभ्रप्रतीकाशा like autumnal clouds, आवलिः dark coloured, अम्बरे in the sky, हंसावलिःइव like white cranes, बभौ shone.

The princes, grasping the white weapons shone like flocks of white cranes in the dark autumnal clouds in the sky.
