ततः thereafter, सः he, तदा then, वानरसैन्यम् Vanara army, लक्ष्मणेनसह accompanied by Lakshmana, रामं च and Rama, सङ्ख्ये from the battle, एवम् in that way, विषादयित्वा withdrew, यातुधानैः moved to abode, संस्तूयमानः while being praised, दशग्रीवभुजाभिगुप्ताम् protected by Ravana's arms, पुरीम् city, सहसा at once, विवेश entered, हृष्टितः happily, सर्वम् all, पित्रे to father, अभ्वुवाद related.

Thereafter Vanara army withdrew from the battle along with Rama and Lakshmana. Indrajith for his part moved to the abode protected by Ravana's arms, while being praised.
