Ravana, who was always victorious in warhearing that Maka raksha had been killed, became highly enraged and grinding his teeth in anger was engrossed in thinking. He commanded his son Indrajith to go to battle. Indrajith starts to fight again with Rama and Lakshmana. Lakshmana wants to use Brahmastra and Rama objects to him and reflects on the means of assailing Indrajith. Indrajith conducts a fire sacrifice before starting to fight.
