सधूमपरिवृत्तोर्मिः waves covered by mist (Dhumakethu) turning round, प्रज्वलन्निव as though going to touch the radiant sun, सागरः ocean, तदा then, क्रुद्धः enraged, दिवाकरम् sun, स्स्पृशन्निव as though to touch, उत्पपात rose high

The waves of the ocean were, as if in fury, waves covered with mist turning around as though to touch the radiant sun rose high.
