महाबल: very mighty, वीर: heroic, स: विश्वामित्र: that Visvamitra, जपताम् वरम् greatest among those performing religious prayers, वसिष्ठम् Vasishta, दृष्ट्वा having seen, परमप्रीत: exceedingly happy, विनयात् out of respect, प्रणत: offered respectful salutations.

Overwhelmed with joy the mighty, heroic Viswamitra upon seeing Vasishta, the greatest among ascetics, was and offered respectful salutations. Vasishta orders Kamadhenu to create things necessary for the hospitality to king Viswamitra.
