धारानिपातैः with the flow of rainwater, अभिहन्यमानाः beaten, कदम्बशाखासु on the branches of kadamba trees, विलम्बमानाः hanging over, षट्चरणाः bees, क्षणार्जितम् acquired in a moment, पुष्परसावगाढम् sucking the honey from the flowers, मदम् strong smell, शनैः slowly, त्यजन्ति leave.

'Having sucked honey from the flowercups filled with honey, the bees are shedding their drunkenness slowly and hanging on the branches of kadamba trees, smitten with showers.
