English Translation
तत् then, चन्दनम् sandal, दृष्टवा seeing, कदाचन ever, न स्प्रष्टव्यं तु do not touch, घोरां dreadful, तत् वनम् that forest, रोहिता: नाम named Rohita, गन्धर्वाः gandharva, रक्षन्ति protect.
English Commentary
'Never touch when you see the sandal trees, for they are guarded by dreadful gandharvas named Rohitas.
