English Translation
तस्यां दिशि in that quarter, दुर्गमाः inaccessible, ये केचन those, समुद्देशाः spots, सः कपीशः the monkey king, कपिमुख्यानाम् to the chieftains of monkeys, तानुदाहरत् he gave an account.
English Commentary
Sugriva, the monkey king, explained to the monkey chiefs about the inaccessible places in the southern direction.
