English Translation
पिशिताशनाः flesh eaters, ताः राक्षस्यः those demonesses, वृथागर्जितनिश्चेष्टाः since their threatenings were of no use, महत् great, तत् that, सीताद्यवसितम् Sita's determination was formidable, रावणाय to Ravana, शशंसुः reported.
English Commentary
"Since the threatenings of the shedemons were of no use the ogresses who live on flesh and blood reported to Ravana about great Sita's formidable determination.
