लोकः world, निर्दस्युःthieves, अभवत् not there, कश्चित् indeed, अनर्थम् lossन अस्पृशत् no harm, वृद्धाः aged, बालानाम् youngsters, प्रेतकार्याणि obsequies, न कर्वतेस्मnot do

There were no thieves, indeed there was no loss, aged did not perform obsequies (no deaths in the young population) for the young and no harm to people.
