English Translation

पूर्वम् first, भरते Bharata, स्नाते had bath, महाबले mighty, लक्ष्मणे च Lakshmana also, वानरेन्द्रे Vanara king, सुग्रीवे Sugriva, राक्षसेन्द्रे Rakshasa king, विभीषणे Vibheeshana, विशोधितजटः removed the matted hair, स्नातः had bath, चित्रमाल्यानुलेपनः adorned with colourful garlands and daubed with sandal paste, महार्हवसनोपेतः clothed in exquisite robes, तत्र then, श्रिया shining, ज्वलन् glowing, तस्थौ stood

English Commentary

Bharata had his bath first, and mighty Lakshmana, Sugriva the monkey king, and Vibheeshana the Rakshasa king followed him. Sri Rama removed the matted hair, had bath, adorned with colourful garlands, and daubed with sandal paste and clothed in exquisite robes stood glowing and shining.
