तदा then, राजा king, मंत्रिश्रेष्ठवच: the words of the best of counsellors, श्रुत्वा having listened, सर्षिगण: with hosts of rishis, सबंधु: with relations, जनक: Janaka, यत्र where, वर्तते was waiting, तत्र there, अगमत् went.

King Dasaratha on hearing the words of the best of the counsellors reached the place where Janaka was waiting with hosts of rishis and relations.
