English Translation
महाराज O Great king, भगवान् venerable, वसिष्ठ: Vasishta, इक्ष्वाकुकुलदैवतम् spiritual protector of Ikshvaku race, सर्वेषु in all, कृत्येषु ceremonies, वक्ता spokesman, ते to you, विदितम् is known.
English Commentary
"O Great king venerable Vasishta is the spiritual protector of the Ikshvakus race and it is known that for all ceremonies he is our spokesman".
